Starting Thursday, August 26, 2010, for three days, city of Râşnov will be an
meeting for historical armies from 8 European countries (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Bulgaria, France and England).
The only living history type event in Romania, organized by a team of historians led by Dr. Adrian Silvan Ionescu.

Festival "In the Name of the Rose" will be held at Râşnov between 26 to 29 August 2010 and aims to attract an interested public to attend a "life lessons" of history. This cultural event with historical, documentary and teaching, organizers aim to highlight the military traditions from Europe, from antiquity to contemporary times.
