House Muresenilor
Muresenilor House was founded in 1968 as a result of donations made by family descendants Muresianu. They put such a cultural legacy of James Muresianu, offering Romanian state to organize a museum space, a very valuable collection of furniture, paintings, sculpture and especially an archive of inestimable cultural value, numbering over 25,000 documents. The museum is dedicated to the memory of several members of this family of great merit in cultural and political life of their time.
Archive Muresenilor is one of the most rich and important family records. Rules for over half a century "Gazeta Transylvania", Muresenii have corresponded with all the political leaders of their time, both in Transylvania and in other provinces as inhabited by Romanian. In addition to political correspondence, the archive Muresenilor found - increasing its cultural value - Muresenilor numerous manuscripts and correspondents of newspapers led by them. Attention and present documents on the history of the national anthem "Awake, Romanian," immortal creation Andrei Muresanu.Muzeul "Muresenilor House" are to transform into a memorial complex dedicated to the memory of the great personalities of Brasov.
