Museum Museum "House Muresenilor" Brasov offers for summer holidays the children a new museum education program.
At its sixth edition, the educational program "Holiday arts museum" is this year a program of five modules - which in turn can be grouped into five different groups of learning and playing on different fields of museum education.
Thus, in the summer of 2011 activities begin on June 27 with the group "Kinder", which can participate in preschool children - especially those in kindergarten. This activity lasts between June 27 and July 1, from 10-12 hours, being guided by a teacher. Participants will learn, dance, listen to stories, interactive activities, theater. Maximum number of participants in the group will be 20 children.
The second group of participants in museum education program will be modeling in clay for a week - early July - the studio of an artist Brasov. Maximum number of participants will be 10.
The third group will start work on July 5 by the end of July, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of the week, between 10 to 12 will be museum education programs as follows: "Children restorers" Myths and legends Brasov, clothes are dry. XIX, mobile and immobile heritage protection, public reading, interactive board games, drawing, modeling in clay.
The novelty of this course is the program called "dexterous hands hold", where participants will learn two guiding to make ornaments, to weave, to manufacture cards, finger puppets, earrings, bracelets, magnets. Target group for the two modules above are students aged between 6 and 14 years.
The fourth group of museum education is addressed especially girls aged between 8 and 16 years and is called "School of stitching, embroidery and good food." This course can participate, on request and boys. They will learn to sew, crochet, embroider, recipes and culinary secrets for eating healthy. Maximum number of participants is 20 students and will be held every Friday starting on July 15.
The fifth and last group will start work in August and is a dedicated design, with an artist Brasov. Students aged between 6 and 16 will draw, paint, made masks and puppets for theater, the maximum number of participants is 20 students.
Specify that some of these activities will take place in the museum, most, but also in the public and the artists' workshops.
Price for each module is $ 20, offering discounts for participation in several modules in parallel.
For the first time the museum organized a trip in late July Racos Lower documentary for students from 14 years upwards. For three days, sleeping in tents, participants will discover the secrets of experimental archeology, visit basalt columns, extinct volcano, the medieval fortress, will participate in intercultural activities. Maximum number of participants is 10, and the cost of the study trips amounting to 100 lei. (Participants in the trip will be accompanied by a general practitioner and they will be training for protection).
